Moreover, long before the Romans, these places were the commercial crossroads of wine for the peoples of the Mediterranean, with the indigenous people called the Elisyques. The dancer present on the Domaine Pilenium logo comes from an old pottery found on the site. This renaissance is marked by a desire to perpetuate and reinvent the wine heritage, in harmony with nature and traditions. She probably dances the end of the grape harvest, symbolizing the celebration of a season of hard work and the beginning of a new cycle.
The story of this dancer begins centuries ago, when a talented potter immortalized her graceful movements on a piece of pottery. Discovered years later on the estate, this pottery became a source of inspiration for Domaine Pilenium. A unique terroir
The Pilenium estate extends over 20 hectares of vines, bathed in a Mediterranean climate and anchored in clay-limestone and alluvial soil. This composition, combined with a southern exposure, creates an ideal climate for the vines. The estate is located in a protected area, on a peninsula of 800 hectares, the pla de l'Ille, where Pilenium is the only operator. This exceptional setting, combined with the influence of sea spray, gives our wines a distinctive saline character, particularly perceptible in our white wines and our rosé.

Carefully matured on our estate, Le Cosmopolite embodies our commitment to quality and our passion for creating wines that inspire and delight the most discerning palates. Alongside it, Le Magnifique stands as the quintessence of our quest for excellence. This organic red wine, denser and structured, reflects an ambition: to create a premium vintage that transcends expectations. With a meticulous blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, Le Magnifique offers an unforgettable taste experience, where spicy notes, chocolate and licorice blend into an elegant tannin structure. It is a tribute to the power and elegance of Languedoc red wine, a vintage that embodies the passion and know-how of our estate.
With its notes of citrus and peach, this wine offers a refined taste experience, highlighted by a little saline side which testifies to the unique maritime influence of our terroir.
