Domaine Pilenium stretches over 20 hectares of vines, bathed in a Mediterranean climate and rooted in clay-limestone and alluvial soils. This composition, combined with a south-facing exposure, creates an ideal climate for the vine. The estate lies in a protected area, on an 800-hectare peninsula, the plâ de l’Ille, where Pilenium is the sole winegrower. This exceptional setting, together with the influence of sea spray, gives our wines a distinctive saline character, particularly noticeable in our white wines and our rosé.
