Right of withdrawal: 14 days
Under Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal via our withdrawal page. This right applies to unopened bottles with seals intact.
Return costs and risks at your expense
Under Article L.221-23 of the French Consumer Code, and as stated before ordering, the direct costs of return are borne entirely by the Customer. As wine is a fragile product, returns are made under the Customer’s responsibility and at their risk: you must repack the bottles in suitable transport packaging (inserts, protection against breakage) and choose an insured, tracked shipping method.
Product condition — mandatory requirements
- Unopened bottles with seals intact, intact capsule and cork;
- Complete products in their undamaged original packaging (gift box, case, etc.);
- No labels removed or altered.
Under Article L.221-23, paragraph 3, you are liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics. We reserve the right to apply a deduction or refuse a refund for a product that has lost value, been opened, damaged or broken during a return with insufficient protection.
Products excluded from the right of withdrawal
Under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the following are among the exclusions: bottles unsealed or opened after delivery that cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection, personalised products, and goods liable to deteriorate rapidly. An opened bottle therefore cannot be returned or refunded.
Refund
The refund is made after receipt of the returned products and verification of their condition. Under Article L.221-24, we may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been recovered or until you have supplied evidence of their dispatch. It covers the product price and initial standard delivery charges (excluding any supplement for a faster delivery method chosen by the Customer), using the same payment method, no later than 14 days after the withdrawal takes effect.
Product damaged on delivery or an error on our part
Our liability remains full and complete in the event of a defective, non-conforming product or one broken during outward transport: after notification with photos via our contact form, we cover replacement or reimbursement, including return costs. Please check the parcel on delivery and record precise, dated reservations with the carrier in the event of visible damage.
